COLLECTION OF TOYS & GIFTS FOR NEEDY CHILDREN

As in previous years, we will be collecting new toys and other suitable gifts for distribution by the Salvation Army to needy children and teenagers on Sundays 28th November and 5th and 12th December. Gifts for older children and teenagers are always in short supply and these will be particularly welcomed (toiletry sets, gift vouchers etc). A new request this year is for Chocolate Selection Boxes and other wrapped chocolate (in bars or tubes). Please note that for Health & Safety reasons we are asked NOT to wrap our gifts as they have to be checked by Social Services before distribution.

The scheme has always been very well supported in the past and we hope that this year will prove to be no exception.
